Crowds for Free Fishing Days

Do places like Farrington Lake get crowded on these free fishing days?

Debating where to fish tomorrow real early am. Was planning on going to the lake, but if its gonna get crowded I would try someplace a bit more off the beaten path. What do you guys think?
