Ocean Exploring the Sea Bass

5-21-13 Overall we had a pretty decent day fishing the bottom,,,,looking for the sea bass,,which we did find....No giant numbers,each spot for the most part would have some fish on em,,(couple were dead)and we would pick away at the bass around the boat...thowbacks,,keepers mixed in,,actually again we had some real jumbos,,pool winner about 4-5lbs...In the end guys had anywhere between just a couple keepers and as many as a dozen,,but mixed in to fill the gaps we had some decent ling come over the rail...some guys upward of 12-15 ling mixed in with there bass...Some real big logs up to five pounds,,,Throw in a couple of nice codfish,,one codfish went about 12 lbs I would guess...a nice fluke about 4lbs,,,and we had a good day out..Going back at it tomorrow!!It looks nice!!

5-22-13 Another solid day of catching today,,,little foggy at times but nice on the water..High hooks today with the sea bass had 15-20 and down from there..Throw in some nice catches of ling and most everyone went home with a nice catch of fish and some were even at there limit...This big sea bass here below took home the pool..We also had some more fluke today but none were keepers...See ya tomorrow..
