![]() Because their wind forecast was a joke today.
Struggled out to Flynns for the beginning of the ebb and anchored up - lots of skates and a nice bass but after 30 minutes, we decided to try our luck in less than 8' rollers. Headed to Highlands Bridge and enjoyed the calm plus caught 3 more (all on clams). Kept one for the pan - not bad for a 3 hour trip. |

![]() I always found w-guru to be my goto wx forecast, even right down to the hourly change. I know they use a few different modules, HRWE 4 KM, NAM 12 KM & GFS.
The GFS is run 4 times a day. The NAM uses 84 hour forecast in 3 hour steps. Updates are 4 times a day with a higher resolution than GFS. The HRW module is updated 2 times a day. Can't recall the last time guru was wrong when I've used it, but I guess it can happen. |
