I swung by Hockhocksen Brook after work seeing as they stocked it today. I worked the half mile stretch above the falls. Fish were very spread out, despite the water being low. Every decent riffle or pool seemed to have at least one fish in it. In about two and a half hours I caught seven, and missed twice as many. Mix of brookies and bows, most were pretty puny, even by hatchery fish standards. All action came on a white Mr. Twister grub. Hits were very tentative, it was tough to get hook-ups. Saw a few fish rising on flies, as well.
Didn't even bother hitting the falls, which is where most of the trout get thrown in.
Nice evening to shake off the stress of the work day.

And it's gonna be a beautiful day, that's plain to see.
But I won't be around at all, so don't even bother to call,
Cause on a day like today there's one place I gotta be:
GONE FISHIN'
