Pohat 4/9

Picked up the grandson Tylor and my buddy Tom and headed over to the Pohat to fish for some stockies and see if we could get Ty into some fish. Got there about 10 of five and there was only one other guy in the spot we chose. I put Tylor in a spot I thought would produce and Tom and I went looking for the fish, him with a rapala and me of coarse with bait. Tom found them first, ( he's good at that, I tease him and say that's the only reason I bring him along) he picked a few with the rapala and called Tylor over and put him on the fish, game on, Tylor pulled about 12 out of the hole while Tom and I took up room around the hole, people were arriving and we didn't want them crowding the 12 year old. My son Jesse arrived about 6:30 and we let Tylor show his dad how to catch them, Jesse got a few. I gave Tylor a pen knife and told him high hook had to clean the fish. Jesse, Tom and I sat and had a few cold ones stream side while Tylor cleaned the 10 fish we kept of the about forty and I must say he did a great job on those fish bound for our new smoker. That was one great night of fishing, watching your son and grandson catch fish, having some beers with your buddy and getting your fish cleaned. Oh yea, I let Ty keep the pen knife and they were brookies caugh on butter worms, worm and a rapala all produced about the same.
