![]() The bites were few and far between. I had one keeper that just made 15". Jimmy Mac had two keepers, one of which hit 8.5#. There was one 17# tog and another about 12#. Lots of donuts around the boat.
Nice comfortable boat and a crew that worked hard. Stayed late, always on good bottom, covered multiple depths. Full moon got the current cranking, probably did not help. Stayed at the Rehobeth Inn. Good price and clean; however, some of the other guests were a bit unsavory. They partied late into the night without a care for those that were trying to sleep. Will try another spot in the future. |

![]() Thank you June. Fun trip. My fish, 8.5lbs next to the pool winner, 17.7 looked small. The big fish, the head must have been 10lbs. The water was 44 degrees...I think too cold for the fish to really want to eat. The full moon had an effect on the current too....12oz most of the day. However, when the fish wanted to eat the did...my fish chewed and then started swimming away with the sinker...even Bill could have hooked him.
My first time on this boat...impressed with the Capt and mate (Paul) a local guy who knows his fishing. We are going to give this boat another shot before the month is out, we will just check to moon before we set a date. |
