![]() I was raised on my grandfathers boats from six months old. Started working at 9 cleaning bait pails and working deck. Dad always said dont work on a boat it's long days and a hard life. As you all know I'm stubborn like he was and didn't listen but when it's In Your blood it's there. If your a fisherman you know what I mean it pumps thru your heart and ya feel it. Totally peace and enjoyment of fishing. That's what my dad taught me. Alot of my fellow fisherman knew him just wanted too let everyone know.

![]() Never met the man...but i am truly sorry cor your loss. My father taught me the same thing when I was young. I remember catching my first bass...where I was...what lure I used...and the smile on my dads face when I showed him. My love for fishing and the outdoors came from my dad. My condolences to you and your family...and tight lines...

![]() Sorry for your loss. No words can help but trust me time heals things. Lost my mom a few years ago, it gets better but not easier. Holidays are tuff.
Just rember, I am sure it was your dad who taught you how to fish and that in itself is the best memorie of him you may have. I never forget fishing with my dad as a child. I realized he went fishing with me because I liked it. As I grew older I realized he was not a fisherman. Now if I get him out mabey once a year I basically hook the fish and he will reel em in. Still he coes not seem enthused. |

![]() Sorry for your loss Chris. I lost my Dad almost 25 years ago. I still miss him but time has made his passing easier. Now, when I fish, I know he is with me in spirit on every trip. I can still hear his voice at times telling me to slow down & enjoy life.

![]() Sorry for your loss Chris. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember you talking about him when we were last out trying to get him up and around and motivated.
He left behind the legacy of fishing for you to enjoy. May he rest in peace and glad you are passing along that legacy to others.
