Am I crazy to think I can do a shark tourny in a 19 foot CC? As most of you know, I have a new ride (my first) and think it is probably too small to go sharkin. Thoughts?

Steve, been out on a 21 footer on a good day, coming home was a bit bumpy....not sure I'd want to go that far off in a 19 unless weather was ideal(Not that 2 ft is making that big of a difference). I'd want to know I had all the right equipment to go. Single engine or dual? Gives a sense of comfort to at least have that second engine to get home. You also want to feel at ease putting a large shark in your boat.

I had her out 19 miles on the shark river reef, don't know if that is far wnough and dont think I want to go farther. I guess my best bet, is to skip this year and get to know the boat better.
