![]() Shark river yacht club has good people and a nice building/restrooms if you can take the tide ripping through the slips and don't mind old docks, dirt lot.
Te closer you get to the train bridge, the faster the tide.

![]() Shark River may be tough this season. I was in Total Marine on Seaview Island right across from the big rt 35 bridge and was told they would not be ready until mid-July at the earliest. Apparently the insurance co. is making them take out and redo all the floating docks. The Neptune Municipal Marina in Shark River Hills was destroyed and they say will be done around Memorial Day but unless they move quickly I don't see it. It still looks bad over there. The back of the river can have low water issues too.
Belmar Municipal Marina seemed to do okay with some damage and may have something but it can be expensive. The prices are listed on their website. That may be your best option. Main One in Avon right near the Main Street Bridge is an option but I think they have mostly fixed docks (not floating) and you may have the same issue there as the SR Yacht Club having a strong current to deal with. Hope this info helps. RC |
