Boy am I ignorant. Was out Wed and had the lake to myself, caught 8 bass including two big ones (see previous fish are bitin post). Never fished in the fall before. I have been a bowhunter for 32 years and I am usually in a tree this time of year. Got a doe already with my recurve and wanted to try something different. Got to the ramp this morning just before first lite and it bieng a Sat I figured there might be a few people pulling in behind me. To my surprise the lot was already full! I almost turned around and went home (I hate crowds,which is funny because I live in the most densely populated corridor of the most densely populated state in the nation) I decided to stay, squeezed myself in and I'm glad I did. Caught two nice bass and a pickerel. Missed a few small ones as well but thats okay because I was using big lures for big fish.
