Hot smoked a chicken yesterday. Lots of wood still going afterward so I was thinking about something else to put on. Had 4 Italian plum tomatos from the garden on the counter so I threw them on. I had heard about this on tv. Definately worth it. The skin loosens and the smoke permiated the inside. I think you have to use plums because regular ones are too watery.
