Default Decent night...CiassaP River Pike and Largemouth

Hit the river tonight after work from my buddies 14' vhull. Launched around 430 and headed downstream. I tossed a firetiger rapala and right off the bat had a follow and strike by a Pike. Short while later, hit this pretty Pike on the rapala. Took a bit to revive her, but she swam away back to her lair. Hit a solid Largemouth, and then it happened: almost had the most legendary moment of my fishing career...

Tossed my rapala out and it got hammered...hard. Took my time with the fight figuring it was a hefty Pike. Finally got the fish up to the boat...as in multiple fish. Almost crapped when I saw not one, but TWO identical size Largemouth hooked on to my lure. Net went in the water, but only one made it in...double mayhem for about 10 seconds. Homeboy who made it into the boat was a 3lb'er, as I believe its mate was. This fish looked like it had STILL been spawning, as it had redness on its bottom fin and near its vent. Water temps were 74 degrees, so naturally our initial reaction was "What da fuzz???" Input on this? Fish were caught in 3ft of water.

Ended up with 1 Pike and 3 Largemouths, off the water by 9pm.
