Had the day off so I decided to grab my brother and hit the Gorge. First time there so we stopped off at Shannons fly & tackle for some lures and any possible advice. Left with a handfull of new spinners and a little advice and hit the river.
We parked at the north lot and walked, and walked. Lots of fishermen out, no crowding though. Far as I could tell we were the only ones with light spinning tackle, everyone else was fly fishing. Once we hit the south lot we started working our way back. Caught 6 total between us. Mix of bows and brookies, all stockie size (no keepers). 5 on PM's, 1 on a rooster tail. And, finally got me a bow!!! Not huge, but it counts!! ![]() ![]()
