What a difference a week makes!!!!!!!

Decided to hit one of our honey holes up in the Clinton area with Capt. JJ SR. this morning...

stream was much higher than last week...water clarity down....fish were super-aggresive...all nice-sized bows caught on a variety of baits and spinners...we must have easilly caught 30-40 fish in a couple hours since we had the place to ourselves....only kept our limit.

Had one guy sneak up behind us...stood off to our left...watched us catch fish while he caught zip...decided to mugg over...I had no issues because he wasnt catching until he started casting directly over our lines when he had the entire stream to his left to fish by himself.

In my fantasy, I very politely said, "Dude. Dudester. Look...I have no issues with you standing on my shoulder on an empty stream cause we obviously have this spot dialed in, but when you start throwing your spinner directly over my Dads' bait, I draw the line. I'd appreciate it if you slide back over until we are done, and then you can fish here all by yourself."

That was what I said in my fantasy.

What I actually said in real life was:

"Hey Douchebag!!!!!! Throw your lure over our lines again and I'll practice performing a colonoscopy on your ass with your new fenwick!"

(I can be so medically direct when the spirit moves me!)

He got the message without my having to soap and glove up................

P.S. Is it just me, or have you guys noticed a ton of snakes around the streams lately? Between last week and this week we saw 6......mostly garden/water...a couple unidentified.....
