![]() Went back to the Mulhockaway today. Nice to see the water up a little after Sunday's rain. No body around but the footprints made it look like it was pounded pretty good last night and early today. The fishing was picky, lost a couple missed a lot of hits. They seemed to be spooked. Finally caught and released a small wild brook trout and then caught and released a beautiful 12in brown. The coloring was beautiful and all the fins were perfect. If the brown was a hatchery fish it was in the stream for along time. Either way it made my day.

![]() The Mulhockaway is one of my favorite small streams to fish. I miss my after work trips up there since I moved. Plenty of wild trout in there, and in the fall some big browns swim up from the reservoir.
