Trout and Carp

went to the south branch today for 2 hours with some corn and brought a trout rod with me while waiting for the carp to bite. caught 1 brookie on power bait once again. fished a phoebe for a while and suddenly my carp rod starts screaming and i grab it; he gets stuck in some snag and i pull on it for a while and eventually pull him out and runs a good 40 yards downstream before landing it in the shallows. weighed 15.5 lbs and 29", my first one of 2012 . half an hour later got another one, much fatter but also 15.
