Widow-makers at Hopatcong

Just remembered this...last weekend while fishing at Hopatcong with my 5 year old I noticed that over near the damn across the stream there were several trees with large broken branches hanging by a thread. It looked to me like a good wind would bring them down. I just emailed the DEP/Parks, hopefully they'll be some type of response.

Thats been like that since the big snow storm we had in nov. Or whenever that was i just know it was early talked to a lady in a park ranger type outfit and she stated theres no way tO fix it... Haha cut them down?

more likely there's just no money to fix it. the parks department budget is pretty slim... lots of places are understaffed
