1/22/ monksville reservoir ice report

finally! got out on the ice for the first time this year. Headed to monksville res. with duck or bleed,mad man & lil jim, there wus about 6 inches of ice.Place wus loaded pretty good with guys all over, didnt see much going on started to set up got 4th tip up set up and whamm fish on, had couple flags up missed managed to catch two nice pickerel both released, hope it doesnt get to warm this week be back at it this weekend

Good job buddy. I was there as well, the group of guys with the fire on the ice rink. There was definately alot of people out there! My friend ,Bob, was roaming around acting obnoxious with a huge bottle of BRANDY in hand!!! GOOD TIMES and TIGHT LINES!!!

After rain all day yesterday and temp's going up good U got it in

Ice is going to be real sketchy for the rest of the week. Temps in Hewitt and West Milford going below freezing most nights for the next 7 days. Sunday and monday we will get a bit of ice. Im making plans to get out next tuesday, anybody want in, let me know. TIGHT LINES!!!
