Rvr 11/3
Hit up Round Valley for the first time in probably 10 years this morning. Fishing from shore 6:30-8:15 am and caught the skunk. Same for the other few guys there. A decent amount of fish were seen jumping, finning, and in the case of what appeared to be a 22" or so brown just cruising by. I tried shiners, mealworms, and spinners they just didn't want to eat.
What made the morning however was one of the best freshwater sunrises I have seen in a long time. I also had a osprey circling over me for the better part of 1/2 an hour. Not to mention the three rag-horned bucks I saw chasing a doe at 6:25 on the way into the park. All in all a great way to start my day.
