Default Under the Raritan

Took my head cam down to the Raritan today and got some underwater footage. The video came out fair; the water looks a lot chalkier once you get down in it. I got some nice video of some smallies and sunfish, and even a turtle. Nothing really big; only one smallie about 1.5 pounds, the rest small stuff. Lots of small sunnies and shiners, but no fish big enough to eat them!

Scary moment at the beginning: I'm swimming through the first stretch and go to adjust the camera... it's gone! Apparently the strap was too loose and it came off, and I didn't even notice. Miraculously I found it quick, in the first place I looked. After that I looped the strap of my mask through the head strap on the camera. It pinched my head a little, but it beats losing a $200 camera.

But I won't be around at all, so don't even bother to call,
Cause on a day like today there's one place I gotta be:
