can someone help me identify this fish fry?
it's from a small lake that includes your basic species of fish. bass, trout, sunfish, catfish, crappie, carp, pickerel. it doesn't really swim around. it just sits on the bottom and likes to hide underneath rocks and other structures.

or a different kind of darter.i usually find these fish under rocks in rivers.

yes. appears to be a johnny darter. very interesting. never heard of these fish before. looks like they don't get too big
