Question Bunker in New Brunswick ?

Got a call from Tommy, he is down in New Brunswick and he said he saw something like bunker splashing at the tide line, could it be ?
Eating now, dark soon, I may be up and down the river this week.

I have a buddy who carp fishes in New Brunswick/Highland Park, and said he had big stripers splashing for 3 hours last week or so. Seems plausible.

I have fished in Johnson Park before. In the pond there I have come across what looked like small bunker or possibly some type of shad. I would imagine that they got into the pond when the river flooded over.
