![]() Looking for advise on choosing a gps/ fishfinder. The new lowrance looks very nice, but I hear customer service is terrible. Garmin is supposedly easier to use.Its going to be flush mounted on a Sea Hunt Ultra 232. Plan on spending under 2k. Also is it best to mount transducer on transom, or thru hull.

![]() Garmin makes great units that are fairly easy to use and they have great customer support. I reccomend them with out hesitation.
My advice, especially for a combo unit, is to buy the largest screen size you can afford and will fit where you plan to install it.
