Leif's cold water bass

My son Leif fished today in one of his favorite bass spots. I didn't get to join him because I was feeling under the weather but my wife was nice enough to take him for a few hours.

He caught a nice 14 inch largemouth on a 4" senko, watermelon color. He caught it on his bass pro shops bait caster and shimano rod. He worked two other ponds without success and tried some spinner baits on his Shimano Curado baitcaster and Skeet Reese rod.

He ventured off to a secret pond and nailed his first bass of the year.
Leif was very happy and hopes to get out next weekend as well.

Seems like Leif is not retired after all and is addicted to this bass fishing stuff.
