Thumbs up South Branch 3/13:

Met up with Wilson later in the day after he scouted Round Valley for a while. South Branch was running high and fast but kinda clear. I got a nice size brown in High Bridge. Wilson and I fished that area for a while, he split, I went upstream for a few hours and got nothing.
I left there and went over to Spruce Run, alot of people fishing where Spruce Run Creek comes into the lake. Talked to one guy and he said he got a nice sized pike on the other side of the lake. Water level was way up on Spruce Run, I guess pike is a good bet this time of year

My brother and I hit the Musky on Sat for a bit, water was very high. Made a jump over to the Gorge for a couple hours, and only managed one 13" brookie on a Panther Martin. Water was high and somewhat clear, but fishable. From there, we hit the High Bridge area with worms, but no takers. It was good to get out an wet line and get a bend in the rod. It was cool, over at the Gorge, to see a couple of minks running around.
