PROWLER 5, CHRISTMAS BLACKFISH REPORT, THURSDAY DEC 25, 2025.

Hey gang,

We sailed with a group of 17 customers, fishing two drops. The first drop in area 102 yielded only a couple of shorts. We then relocated further offshore to area 119, where that bite that unfortunately ceased abruptly.

The southwest winds where wicked today in the deep.

We secured a handful of keeper on tog and slow pick of shorts. Caught 4 ling.

Adam Bajrami from Bergan County, Elmwood Park, had a Blackfish weighing 7.6lbs, taking the lead in our big pool.

We will resume operations tomorrow, Friday 7:30am to 3:30 pm.
