Game Warden caught one at Manasquan Inlet yesterday afternoon
When I checked the Manasquan beach cam this morning I saw 13 boats 🛥️ and 13 jetty fishermen. Looked like the stripers were biting. The rain 🌧️ stopped when I arrived at the inlet. Weather was cloudy ☁️ and cold 🥶 with a 30 mph west wind on the outgoing, blowout low tide. The municipal parking lot was nearly filled with wintering boats 🚤. A big flock of mallards 🦆 were in the pond behind the parking lot. A game warden was issuing a citation to a fisherman as I was preparing to go fishing 🎣. I caught, tagged and released a windowpane flounder with a yellow ASalt Bomber in the surf. 10 surfers 🏄*♂️ and > 20 jetty fishermen were in my fishing 🎣 spot. Everyone left before I quit. A US Army Corps of Engineers dredge went up the inlet. Lots of waterfowl migrated south. A flock of Atlantic Brant flew up the inlet. I took lots of photos. Didn’t see any fish.
