Fluke fishing 7-7-25

Headed out from the barn early. The bay was like a lake. Turned south around the hook and it was choppy I guess from the tropical storm heading our way. A beautiful drift @ .6kt once we got to the fishing grounds. wound up with 4 keepers with biggest being 24". Gulp was the ticket in 60ft of water. Steady action all day and dropped a few nice ones. All in all a great day with overcast skies and cool air temps from cool ocean water. Get out there on a PB/Charter or your own boat them flat fish are chewing! Tight lines!

I would have thought that the line “once WE got to the fishing grounds” it was pretty self explanatory.

Thanks Gerry! My friend John and I were the team that day! . He took the pics. We both caught 2 keepers. Of course I caught the 2 biggest LOL! I may not agree with the regs but I do follow them! Tight Lines!

Yeah I start to feel the same way at times especially if I start reading reactions to posts!
