Tilefish Trip Report - Blues -Macks - Ling 7:30AM

🎣 Excellent Tilefish Trip! 🐟
We had a fantastic Tilefish trip this past Monday aboard the Big Jamaica! The boat hit a full limit of Golden Tilefish, along with plenty of Blueline Tile as well.
Many of the fish were in the 10–20 lb range, with the largest at 25 lbs, caught by Clyde Coy of Danbury, CT—our pool winner of the day!
The drift was a bit slow at times, but we steadily picked away at fish throughout the trip. A few solid drifts really loaded up the deck with quality catches. Even first-timers using rental rods hit their limit with nice-sized Tilefish!

I almost forgot to mention that there were some massive schools of endangered Bluefin tuna in the area and two anglers were able to pluck a couple from the schools.
