Caught, tagged and released my bluefish limit including a double

Went fishing 🎣 in Manasquan Inlet this afternoon on the first two hours of incoming tide. Got the first parking spot near the jetty. Weather was cloudy and cool with a strong southeast wind. Caught, tagged and released a 20” 2.5 lb bluefish on my second cast of the day with a plain hook Ava A-17. Another bluefish fell off my line when I lifted it from the inlet. Then I caught, tagged and released a bluefish double with my brother John’s homemade black and white synthetic bucktail teasers. Lost two more bluefish before they stopped biting. There was a big splash in the inlet near the rocks 🪨 right in front of me. Probably was a school of spawning blackfish. Two fishermen to my left and one angler to my right caught nothing. There was one swimmer in the ocean. I caught lots of weeds. Took photos. Dog Beach was loaded with fishermen. A kite surfer was on the ocean.
