Default Saturday Crappie / Delaware river float trip

Fished sat with Eddie and rob on a crew trip. Eddie needed some crappie fillets for a fish fry so we headed out. Fished a bunch of different areas on the lake fish at most of them. Getting bigger and better by evrey trip out. Few warm days and nights with stable temps and none of this wacky weather is what we need to get things really going! Ended keeping 20 better ones and throwing back the smaller ones.

Sunday I had the driftboat out for the first float this year. Plan was to see jist how far up the shad were. Floated above the gap tried a few different spots but no love. Along the way we jigger some deep water for eyes and got a couple along with some smallies along the way. Back at it once things really get going.

Great job guys, nice haul. Seeing more fish moving in each day. Unfortunately last night's geostorm and an air temp drop of 50 degrees in 24 hours is going to have some impact. Big girls are getting ready, a few degrees warmer water and all the much needed rain expected this week hopefully gets them going. Congrats figuring them out.
