![]() March 16 and the fish ladder still closed on the Raritan river, water temp 51*. Shad are being caught in the Delaware river already. Feel free to start witting letters to anyone and everyone, this is bull !

![]() I emailed the NJ Water Supply Authority today and this was their response:
Good Afternoon, NJWSA generally opens the fish ladder in mid to late March, depending on weather conditions and the availability of the vac truck contractor needed to remove accumulated sediment from the structure. Current contractor availability has the opening scheduled for March 27. NEW JERSEY WATER SUPPLY AUTHORITY |
