had some overtime ice action.
I still did not want to call it quits just yet and went back to the state park to fish for some crappies and or perch. the ice was still good and i went over by where you guys were on Sunday just down a bit from were you guys were and got into some decent perch 5 of them from 7"to 11" and two slimers one of them was 5lb 7oz weighed in at dows. the fish scared all the perch away so i took it to dows and joe is going to release it in the morning it is recovering in his hospital tank
 it wont terrorize the perch at the park anymore hoping to get one more morning at the park before it all melts away we had a great ice season lets hope we get the same next year. fish porn below.

that is a big ass gator!
5.7 should win the season long contest with ease... congrats can't wait to start chasing the crappie....maybe get the yak out this weekend
