GAMBLER --Striper Report Fri 12/20
Very light on customers yesterday, NE wind and drizzle was more than anticipated. But we decided to give it a shot. The seas were lumpy but manageable.
Starting drifts just North of Seaside in 60+ feet, we caught stripers ranging in size from 24" to 35". It was pretty good action on A-47 lures, despite the fast drift. By mid-morning the seas and rain were getting heavier and since we had a decent catch, we returned a little early. No sail today No sail tomorrow (lack of sign-ups due to weather forecasts) No sail Monday (We will be offshore Sea Bass fishing) There is still open spots for our offshore sea bass trip, leaving tomorrow night. The striped bass are moving, so there is no guarantee but Gambler will give it her best shot.
