Prowler 9/17 Fluke Report

Hey Gang,

We had another beautiful flat calm day out in the ocean on the fluke grounds.

The fares onboard has some great action right out of the gate with plenty of fluke flying over the rails. You had to weed through the shorts for the keepers however the action was solid.

Made a move to try and target some bigger fish over a few hangs and right away Mr. Kim landed a fat 5.6lb fluke followed up Matts 5.2lb fish.

The last area we fished was the most productive with multiple limits being landed onboard with a solid spread of keepers around the boat along with never ending short life.

The highlight of the day was Prowler regular Max Zazzarino (12 years old) from Middletown landing a 8.6lb fluke. He’s a really turning into a sharpie at an early age and works hard at the rail on every trip, congrats Max!
