Headed north to Pulaski to meet up with the crew and slay some SALMONOIDS and try to find other species. Most of the fish we found were up high on the Salmon River and the freshest fish we found were in a creek. Plenty of hook ups all around for the crew with Saturday being my best day with about 40ish hook ups with Kings and Cohos. That action lasted for about 8 hours straight with constant movement. Some of the boys ventured to the lower end Sunday to see if they could find the elusive Steelhead. Some were successful with Nick and Yuri both landing beautiful 25 inch class fish. They were fatties man, awesome Dimes! The majority of the crew left this morning with myself hanging back trying to get one last fix. Found some fish downstream from Saturday’s honey hole but couldn’t bring any to hand. Didn’t have a net man to help me out. Ahhhggggg!

Once we were done fishing each day we had drinks and great food by the fire. Our set up included 3 pop up Gazebos, 3 big tables, an outdoor kitchen with all the bells and cooking tools you could imagine. We smoked a friggin Ham and slow cooked a Venison hind leg quarter, LOL! Now that’s my kinda camping. Yee yee!!! Gotta love it! Music was on point and everyone had an awesome time. I can’t believe I’ve been enjoying this fishery for a quarter century, time flies but man I’m going to keep heading up every year as long as I can. Love when the brothers get together like this. Thanks to Mikey, Scotty, Big Fonz, Nick, Luke, Steve, Yuri and the 3 Stangle boys for making this years adventure happen. Y’all kick ass! The memories are priceless. TIGHT LINEZ and CHEERS!
