Planer board outfits

What do the planer board guys prefer mono or braid. First season pulling boards getting the setups together. Thanks in advance for any help.

I used 200# black Dacron for 15 + years on the Lake O ! The black can be easily seen against skyline !
This was on boards that pulled hard and on a bigger boat . I could easily set 4/5 lines on each line with no drift for shallow water pulls !
