Default for those of you that use jigs and plastics, here's a way to keep them on

I don't like using jigs with collars that always create large holes in soft plastic lures. Using no-collar jigs, I came up with a way that makes sure the lure doesn't slip down: enter the Grub Grip
You need wire cutters, pliers and wire:


Take a coated floral arrangement wire and cut a piece such that one end is near the curve of the jig hook:


Wrap one end tight to the post:


Cut close to it and bend tight with pliers:


Bend the remaining side into an L shape that swings into the lure:


Wouldn't leave home without the wire grip attached:
