FISHERMEN/Thursdays Bottom Fishing Report

Not sailing the past two days set us back into the stone age!

I hate being tied up only because when we do get back out, it's like starting all over again!

In two days the fish could have moved 5 miles and you'd never know it.....

Today was no different, we went back to where we have been fishing the past week, conditions were OK with the last of the outgoing and a pretty good North wind blowing, got set up on a nice reading, caught the small Sea Bass, made a move and caught less.

Pulled the anchor and headed to a new area where we should have had enough life to keep everyone happy.....Found some Big Porgies, just not enough and the Sea Bass that had to go back totally pissed me off!!

Fished the Rocks, The reef and everything from 25 ft of water to 50ft.......If there are Porgy there, we will never know with the way the Sea Bass attack the baits. Bet your ass from the 8th of October on, you won't see another Sea Bass.

I looked over every area on the way out that should be holding fish right now and didn't see enough to give it a shot. Will give it Hell tomorrow once again.....No Excuses, I'm a Fishermen and take the cards that are dealt me every day.
