PROWLER5 - LARGEST FLUKE OF THE SEASON, 11LBS. LEADING MEGA POOL

Hey gang. I was glad to see a beautiful, flat ocean after the storm we had. We fished offshore and had excellent short fluke action, with some nice quality fluke mixed in. The highlight of the day was Prowler regular John from Garfield landing an absolutely beautiful ocean fluke, weighing in at 11.0 lbs. on the official Prowler5 MEGA pool scale that Capt. Jack special ordered for us. John's fish is now leading the MEGA pool, dethroning Tom Karg, which weighed 6.8 lbs. This is the time of the year that the big fluke start to bite, so do not miss out. Thanks, Capt. Scott P.S. When fluke season ends on Sep. 19th, we will be switching to porgy and tog every day, except for Mondays. Starting then, our new hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the fare will be $75.00

Great job Capt., some quality fish there. Either some big fish that came in on this full moon or quality fish schooling up and feeding anticipating their long migration back east.

Thanks bud, appreciate it. Hopefully some big fish moved in with the full moon. It felt good to land a nice fish in double digits. Didn't know if it was going to happen this year. Hopefully the weather holds out for the rest of the fluke season - Sept. 19th.
