Default Spanish Mackerel blitz in the Outer Banks

Hey all, my daughter and I hit the surf in Hatteras Village on the Outer Banks and walked right into an insane Spanish Mackerel blitz only feet from shore. I've never seen a bait ball that big thay they were blitzing on. We never caught Spanish Macks before and had a blast! We caught them on 1oz Kastmaster spoons. I lost count on how many we caught. Ended up grilling them with a sauce recipe a friend of mine who is a chef gave me.
