Sailed out of Manasquan before sunrise this morning. We made a couple of drifts on a piece in 85 ft to see if there was life. First fish up was a Boston Mackerel and we picked some Sea Bass and dropped the anchor. We had a steady bite with a good keeper ratio. Had some Ling in the mix along with Bluefish, Sea Robin, Spiny Dogs and a smooth Dog. My man Barry tried a Tog jig and got into an epic battle that the fish eventually won. Fish 1 Polish guy 0.

Thank you Gerry. It was good to get out. It wasn't lock and load and we didn't get any really big Sea Bass but it was a good steady bite and most were over 14 inches. What made the day great was when I got home I learned that the charter and party boats were finally allowed to fish again.
