Default Fun Striper Fishing day!

Had my daughter out on the Avery Lynn yesterday morning for a nice day of trolling for Stripers. Started out off of Keansburg area with the Mojos and stayed away from the western traffic jam that looked like Round Shoal. Trolled the area and #'s that I saw life at on Saturday evening with good luck. Had a couple hits with 5 fish total boated. Kept 2 nice fish. Largest on the day was a 45 inch piggie!! My daughter couldn't crank that one in..so I took over and had to fight it while she cleared the other line.
Even put my custom FishStix to use yesterday! Glad I had a tape measure on the boat, the big one didn't fit on the 40 inch one I had on board! hahaha

Saw Gerry out there on his boat Obsession...good to see you out there!

It was nice to get out of the house again and spend some quality time with my daughter.

Photos soon.

Good to see you out there too Bill. Can't say I ever remember seeing so many boats. I will say for the most part, people did behave themselves and were respectful of other boats and their trolling lines... Been out there in the past when it seemed to be every man for himself.

There was one knucklehead who was on the cell phone....not paying attention to his course line. Was veering off in front of me and all. Had to honk at him to pay attention. But yes...everyone out there for the most part was really mindful and paid attention and I appreciated that esp. with my daughter on the boat.
