To far from the beach but not the water ,staying Sane!

Well i know its not salt but its Water.

Just an idea for everyone. Like Force said in his post i look at this
site several times a day and not really seeing anything posted. I understand, but us fisherman have to make the best of what we are given.
So here is goes!
Went through my things and dug out the old dusty trout rods and took my daughter (last of the fishchix still at home) and went to the local box store and bought some hooks and berkley trout bait. Since NJ was kind enough to open trout season early. Now, i have not trout or freshwater fished since i was about 12. Now 57! ugg.

went online and bought the license and off we went. Decided to take her boyfriend as well. Both 15 years old. Called flounderman and asked him to meet us there to give us some tips. i have to say the two kids had a great time, i enjoyed being out there to wet a line and both of them each caught a trout. Thanks again Mike, AKA flounderman. 2 hours ,10 minutes from the house. no close contact with anybody and several trout caught and released.

beats nothing,just a thought.
