Default Bayshore report 3/10

Fished the local beaches around Belford/ Pt Monmouth throwing plugs and had a few bumps but nothing hooked up. Guys with clams and worms were getting the occasional short bass and one had his 2 flounder. Nice evening to cast a line.

unlike most replenished beaches, Port Monmouth held bait and small bluefish all summer last year.

Maybe the outflow from belford etc..

I tried worms at Union Beach Monday for 2 hrs... but the dead low tide did me dirty

Guys were definitely waiting for the water to rise - said there was short action.

Agreed, it was full moon dead low - like 12" for a block

Bet it warmed nice that day but you can only fish when you can fish...
