Fish have been hard to come by lately, but I did get a couple today and lost a real nice rainbow.

Ah, it begins. Ill hot it soon, looking for walleye. I typically have luck even at daylight with them in march from last two years.

Now, I know it's just the angle, or lighting, or both, but... that top pic sure looks a lot like a spotted bass.

true that jaw line looks short. You never know in jersey

I was thinking the same. The jawline doesn't come past the eye. It was caught in fast moving water, before I saw it I thought it was going to be a smallmouth. The other fish had almost no color and was caught in the same spot.
