Hey gang, we had some good people on the boat and fished offshore in the deep water. The blackfish bit pretty good but just not a lot of keepers today, only a handful. Strong south wind against tide but it was a fishable day. Chris in the stern, I believe was high hook with 16, but only one keeper. When we were pulling our anchors to come home, it really started getting wild out there. We did a little surfing on the way home - Hawaii 5-0 style. Our next two trips will be Tuesday and Wednesday for sure. We will definitely be sailing, George, Louie and some of the Angler guys will be coming out with us. The ocean will be settled down nicely and we should have good conditions. Also, now that we are the only boat fishing out of Atlantic Highlands, we have a new policy, it doesn't matter if we have one or 25 - if we are lit up we will sail.
