Brutal heat = night time lunkers

Decided to fish at night last friday to avoid the heat and intercept some lunker bass! We had plenty of smaller fish from dusk til moon rise but then the moon and some lure switch-ups brought out the big tanks! Def a touchy bite with many fish short striking or nipping, but we figured it out. My buddy and I hammered 4 bass (2 each) 20"-20.5" Not too shabby for north jersey! and as an added bonus the bugs weren't too bad! I think they were drowning in our sweat before they could bite us hahaha.
