Monster Brown Trout Madness (11/3/18 - 11/4/18)

Every once and a while, you go on a trip that is nothing short of spectacular. Chrisper and I headed Northwest to fish with our friend who guides on the Lake Ontario tributaries over the weekend looking for big fall browns. And we hit it just right, with a full on invasion of browns in the creeks. In a day and a half, we landed 38 big browns and 3 king salmon, all on fly rods. More than 20 of those browns were 27 inches or larger. I got my new personal best of around 32 inches and between 14 and 15lbs. Every fish was released. Just absolutely insane fishing. Wow. Just... wow. The smallest brown in that bunch would have been fish of the year for me. You guys always put in your time, you deserve to get into 'em like that once in a while. Great report, great pics, congrats all around!

Can't believe you guys keep following the stocking trucks! That is as fine a collection of trophy browns as you'll ever see. Love the males with the big kype in full spawning colors. You hit the mother load for sure. Water looked a bit stained and seems like quite a few leaves in the water, even more amazing you banged them that well. See or hook any steelhead?

Excellent job with amazing results. Will be hard beating a trip like that but the fun will be trying. Thanks for sharing! You both cease to amaze.
