Had a small window of opportunity to get some fishing in finally. Had to pick something up in Manville and to my surprise there was still some daylight left after taking care of some business. Off to the river I went in search of Smallies. Started off throwing topwater to no availability, switched to a very popular Smallie jig and game on! Nailed 3 average sized fish until this one absolutely crushed the plastic. Just wow, this fish was jumping like a maniac and the drag on my 1000 size Okuma reel was screaming. Beautiful fish, female, 20 inches on the nose! Oh yeah baby, Fall is here! Hell yesss!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
